This door has been sealed ever since
I bought my house 10 years ago.
I'm a sunshine and light kinda gal,
so this door has been driving me QWAZY!
Well, today I got out the old chisel n hammer
and went to work. It had been
caulked and painted a bazillion times
and took nearly an hour...BUT...
TAH DAH
Thar be light!!!
Now I can walk out my grooming room
into my side garden or just watch
and listen...
sighhhhhhh......
life is good!
Yay! Sure wish I had a door to chisel open in our living room. We need one more window or door.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I know what you mean about the sun shining in, I love that myself! I think the dogs will like that as well! Great job sis!

Very nice!!! Let the fresh air in. You're really going to enjoy this. It's so true the small things in life offer the most joy.

Looks great! Who on Earth would anyone seal a door closed? Kinda odd. I like your pink house!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't stand sealed doors or bricked in windows either... but in Old Homes around Town I see it done all the time?!? I don't get it??!!!! So glad you brought the Light back inside and set the Door free to be walked through again as it was Purposed to do!
